Solution
Web enabled container locating system using RFID (Radio frequency identification) & GPS (Global positioning system) technologies. RFID tags identify the container number and GPS devices on top of RTGC, RMG etc locate the container with precision within the block in the container yard.This location and identification data is then sent to central server using GPRS/WIFI where it is analysed using the pre-defined GIS mappings and exact location of the container (row, column and height) is calculated and upated in the system.
